Airsoft Silencer - How to make a mock

This is a very simple fake silencer that can be used to cover a longer barrel or just for looks.

The materials you will need:
  • barrel cover
  • a piece of 1in. PVC
  • a piece of 1/2in. PVC
  • electrical or duct tape
Total cost: 1$-5$

airsoft silencer

Simply cut a hole big enough for a BB (or a barrel) to pass trough in one of those orange barrel covers that comes with many AEGs.

Now cut the 1in PVC to the length that you want your silencer to be, and slide it over the barrel cover. If the fit is to loose, wrap it with tape a few times.

You can add an inner barrel by cutting a piece of 1/2in PVC that is the length of your silencer minus the length of the barrel cover and wrap it in tape until it will stay in the 1 in. PVC.

The whole contraption should fit on the flash hider by friction in the same way the barrel cover did. Paint it as you like.

Or add five more dollars to your budget and get this one with 4 threaded adaptor heads:

Airsoft Guns Tip - Look to real guns

When buying an airsoft gun it is important to remember that an airsoft gun is designed to imitate a certain real gun. The airsoft gun will share many of the same featured. Things like and ambidextrous safety, the type of mag release and type of sights will all probably be shared with the real version, and be universal with airsoft guns of that type.
Also look at the proportions of things like the stock, hand guard and magazine. A large magazine will hold more ammo and a spacious hand guard or stock will potentially house a larger battery.

Echo 1 E90 - A Gun That Rocks!

Pros:
The Body is very durable ABS.
It comes with a metal flash hider. I suggest so that you don't accidental get in trouble, that you put your orange tip in hot water while its on the gun, and then screw it off. It wont break the tip so if you need it you will have it.
The ROF is amazing
FPS is about 420!
The sights are good. No need for a scope/red dot
Metal upper receiver
The fire selector is cool. On full auto a half pull of the trigger is semi.
OVERALL IT'S AMAZING

Cons:
The Magazines suck. Get a box mag.
Low battery space. Get a second battery and get a smart charger.
The orange tip is hard to get off without breaking
